It doesn’t get much easier than this strawberry basil vinaigrette made in your blender!

In fact vinaigrettes in general are pretty simple to make. Having just a few basic ingredients on hand in your pantry will allow you to come up with simple flavorful vinaigrettes in no time. Some items to stock include:

  • Organic extra virgin olive oil
  • Organic raw apple cider vinegar
  • Aged balsamic
  • Lemons
  • Fresh herbs
  • Dried herbs
  • Honey
  • Whole grain mustard
  • Salt and pepper

If you stock your pantry and refrigerator with these items you will never have to buy salad dressing again! It will save you time and money and you will always have a fresh dressing on hand.

To make salad dressing in a snap you can use a handheld blender or a traditional blender.

Watch Me Make This Delicious Strawberry Basil Vinaigrette Dressing:

For This Amazingly Easy Summer Dressing I Combined Fresh Strawberries and Basil With a Few Of the Ingredients Above:

Fresh strawberries in a glass measuring cup.

First combine all the ingredients in the blender. Blend the dressing on low speed, increasing the speed to medium after it begins to get smooth. Once the dressing looks like dressing it’s done!

A jar of the prepared vinaigrette next to a plated salad.

That’s it! A simple, fresh, easy dressing in minutes.

I served this dressing on a salad of fresh arugula, roasted beets, feta, and apple and it was divine. I can’t wait to try it as a marinade for barbecue chicken.
