This recipe is for the young, or at least the young at heart. Do you remember eating peanut butter, honey and banana sandwiches when you were young? I sure do! They were my favorite school lunch. My mom would make them the night before school and put them in the refrigerator where the honey would soak into the bread and crystalize. The next day the bread would be kind of crispy with crystallized honey. I loved that special treat and I can still remember the taste and texture 30 years later!!!
